TheraCal LC is designed as a light-curing, resin-reinforced calcium silicate liner. This product was developed as a base material for both direct and indirect pulp treatments, as well as providing protection under composites, amalgam, various cements and other base materials. It offers an excellent alternative to calcium hydroxide, glass ionomer, RMCI, IRM/ZOE and other restorative materials (as capping and base material).

TheraCal LC insulates, protects and acts as a barrier to the pulp complex, supporting the health of the pulp. The patented and special formulation of this product provides a significant calcium release thanks to tricalcium silicate particles embedded in hydrophilic monomers, making it a permanent capping and base material.
